Residential complex “Vezha”
This project occupies the site of the Lviv Oil Plant and is one of the elements of a comprehensive revitalization of the once industrial district of Pidzamche. Due to the large number of industries having ceased to function, the present-day Pidzamche is in a state of decline, although it has a strong potential for development and a significant impact on the entire urban structure of Lviv.
The project aims to breathe new life into the area between Bohdan Khmelnytsky and Promyshlova streets, taking into account all the features of the area, creating new pedestrian connections that are so lacking in the former industrial districts and offering residents a new and unusual mix-used space that offers comfortable living, work and interesting rest within one complex.
Laconic modern architecture with clear facade graphics harmoniously integrates office buildings focused on the bustling and lively streets of B. Khmelnitsky, apartment complexes and apartment buildings with cozy green courtyards. The building itself forms three courtyards for the recreation of the residents of the complex and several public areas that are oriented to the needs of working people. The complex itself is intended to become an accent building on Bogdan Khmelnitsky Street, to fill it with new functions and to form new semi-private and public spaces, which are missing in this area of the city.
