26 Efremova street

On the site, was situated a mansion of the late 18th century that was clamped between government buildings of 3-4 floors, and built in the early 20th century, has survived during all these years. Repeatedly reconstructed and divided into apartments in the Soviet era, the house didn’t attract the inhabitants for a happy life between higher buildings.

According to the project, “filling” the gap in the ordinary building was realized by constructing a building with modern facades, but with the preservation of outline and villa’s facades, which was previously the only building on the site.
